Since 1978, the Junior League of London has quietly but effectively worked to help women and communities reach their full potential. Through the strength of our association, we strive to enrich our communities by focusing resources in ways that recognise diverse perspectives, building partnerships, initiating shared solutions and providing fellowship and training for our membership. Our members volunteer over 25,000 hours annually, through short- and long-term projects, to assist families in need throughout the London area.
We come from a variety of backgrounds. JLL members are business executives, stay-at-home mothers, entrepreneurs, and full-time students. The international membership of the JLL is one of the things that makes it unique – women from the UK and abroad, some who have just arrived, and others who have been here all of their lives – brought together by a shared spirit of voluntarism. This diversity is what makes our organisation dynamic: each member contributing her own individual skills and talents, along with a strong commitment to making a difference.
