Interested in Becoming a Member? The Junior League of London has been respected in the London community since 1978 for developing women as civic leaders and improving the community. We believe in investing in volunteers so that they may invest in our community. An important part of considering membership is to understand the commitments of the organisation. Twice a year, the JLL holds information sessions to answer questions and give prospective members the opportunity to learn more about us. Any woman who meets the following requirements may join: • A strong interest in voluntarism • A commitment to community service • An interest in developing her potential for voluntary community participation In order to be considered for membership, prospective members must fulfil the following commitments: • Attend Super Saturday and New Member Orientation Sessions • Attend JLL General Meetings • Participate in the New Member community project • Participate in the JLL Fund Development programme • Pay New Member dues
