One of the world’s greatest dance companies, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, returns to Sadler’s Wells this September to showcase their extraordinary work.

We will watch Programme One which includes the gripping solo In/Side, plus the elegant Dancing Spirit, a piece that fuses movement from Brazil, Cuba and the USA. Suite Otis is a playful battle of the sexes set to some of Otis Redding’s best-loved songs.

Also featured is the classic Revelations, the most seen modern dance work in the world, choreographed by Ailey and first performed in 1960. A piece that celebrates and pays tribute to American dance music and history, it explores the journey from deepest grief to unbound joy, and continues to inspire audiences whenever it is performed.

Tickets cost £48 and include seating in the First Circle, pre show drinks, light dinner and drinks during the interval, and post show talk with the audience by members of the cast and creative team. Seats are limited.
