In addition to supporting our ongoing fundraising activities such as Boutique de Noel, Living in London and Fundraising Events, there are many other easy and efficient ways that you can support the League, and not all of them require direct financial contribution – just your time and a bit of dedication!

Please take a look at the options below and see if there are any ways you might be able to help support the JLL (and remember to tell your friends!)

Option 1: Donate

Option 2: Mission Fish – The way to fundraise on ebay

If you sell items yourself on ebay please consider making JLL your non-profit of choice. Buyers of your items can make an optional donation to JLL or you can choose to donate a percentage of the sales of your item/s. All proceeds are channelled right back into the League. *Instructions to follow!*

Option 3: Every Click

Everyclick.com offers a seamless online giving platform for individuals, schools, businesses, colleges and charities. You can raise funds for JLL through utilising everyclick’s Search, Shop, Local, Donate, Sponsorship and Vouchers functions. When registering, be sure to make JLL your nominated charity.

Option 4: Giving Machine

Register with The Giving Machine and shop online at a variety of fantastic online retailers from John Lewis to Amazon.com to iTunes. Select JLL as your beneficiary of choice and the League will earn a percentage of the donations made by the retailers.

Option 5: Recycle for Charity

You can recycle your old mobile phones and ink cartridges with Recycle4Charity. The JLL receives a percentage of the recycled value of the items. Please contact the JLL office for more details.

Option 6. CAF American Donor Fund (CADF)

JLL is now registered with the CAF American Donor Fund. This means that if you are a dual US and UK registered tax payer and would like to make a contribution to the League whilst being able to obtain UK and US compliant tax receipts, you now can!  There is a minimum £50 fee associated with this service -- for gifts of under £1,000, the donor will be responsible for a portion of this fee.  For more information, contact the JLL Office to obtain the necessary forms.

Option 7.  Support the JLL Through a 10-K or Other Challenge with Virgin Money Giving 

Considering a 10-K run?  Planning to undertake a major challenge like biking from London to Brighton or jumping out of a plane?  Then consider asking your friends to support your efforts by creating a donor page online at Virgin Money Giving.  And remember, the JLL has a debenture that allows us to enter up to 6 runners each year in the ASICS British 10-K London Run which takes place in July.  If you are prepared to raise at least £250 for the JLL, you can have one of our slots in the race – contact the JLL Office for further information.  Are you up for the challenge?


Option 8. Gift-Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, the JLL is eligible to claim back 25p for every £1 you donate from the UK government.  This is on every donation you make to the JLL, including your membership dues.  All you need to do is complete the GiftAid Declaration form, return it to the office and JLL will do the rest.  Make your gift go further – register for GiftAid today!

Option 9: Corporate Matching

Do you or your partner work for a company that has a corporate matching scheme?  Many employers will match their employees’ donations to charity, some will even match funds that you raise through fundraising efforts or will match their employees’ volunteer time.  Take the time to find out if your employer participates. Check this list of employers with corporate matching schemes. 


Option 10: Give as you Earn (GAYE)

Many employers also offer a GAYE scheme, which allows you to donate to a charity of your choice tax-efficiently by taking your donation from your pay before tax is calculated.

Option 11: Jewellery Recycling

Recycle your unwanted gold, silver, costume jewellery, watches, damaged, broken and incomplete jewellery items into money for the League! Contact the office to obtain a special returns envelope.

Option 12: Sainsbury's Mayfair

The League has been lucky enough to be selected by Sainsbury's Mayfair as their 'Local Charity of the Year' meaning we will be working on a number of projects throughout the year where we hope to engage Sainsbury's staff and customers with the work that we do.  You can support us by shopping in Sainsbury's Mayfair and giving your spare change at one of our donation boxes at the till / throughout the store!
