We held our Annual General Meeting on 21 May as the last event of the 2018-2019 year.  The meeting kicked off with our keynote speaker, Diana Parkes, a leading authority on women in the world of work, the challenges they face, the reasons for these challenges and the most potent and practical solutions.  Her session shared insights on how diversity of leadership leads to better outcomes.

Next was a panel session with Management Council members and our President-Elect reflecting on the past year and our accomplishments.  We wrapped up the year by welcoming our New Members, honouring special members and celebrating the accomplishments from the 2018-19 Junior League year and our impact on the London community – including 600+ community volunteer shifts and 1200+ hours of training to develop the potential of women and fight the effects of poverty in London.  The gavel has officially been passed on to our 2019-2020 President, Melissa Allen!  Thanks to all that attended!
