Allison Brackmann has served as this year’s Events Committee co-chair and truly deserves special recognition!  Allison has been the central local point of contact for all Events related matters since her co-chair, Tori Esposito had to relocate back the US earlier this year. During this transition, Allison has continued to keep communication lines open across countries and work around various time zones to connect and divide up responsibilities between chairs and has kept the committee humming along.  She has jumped in with both feet to lead all Events meetings and represent Events in our FD Council meetings, coming up with creative ideas and spreading her positive energy. Allison continues to seek opportunities for Events committee members to feel engaged during the continuation of COVID uncertainty and addresses all obstacles with a positive attitude.  Having Allison as co-chair of Events has not only helped maintain, but to add to the efforts of the Events committee during a year of transition and all of her work deserves our cheers!
