The Little Black Dress Initiative is a week-long, social media-driven fundraising campaign that uses the iconic “Little Black Dress” to raise awareness about poverty and its effects on women in society. Participants wear one black dress for five consecutive days and are encouraged to harness the power of their social media platforms to drive online donations and educate others about poverty in their local community.

This year LBDI is running 20-24th of February, coinciding with London Fashion week.

While all eyes are on Fashion week, you can help us make poverty unfashionable by supporting this year’s LBDI campaign by donating to our Just Giving campaign:

Another way to support the Junior league of London is to donate to our Annual Fund. Donations to the Annual Fund directly support our work as we strive to improve the London community through our outreach programmes, which focus primarily on breaking the cycle of poverty and improving the lives of local families in need.

In addition to the annual fund, Boutique de Noel, Living in London and our fundraising events, there are many other easy and efficient ways that you can support the League, and not all of them require direct financial contribution – just your time and a bit of dedication!

Please take a look at the options and see if there are any ways you might be able to help support the JLL (and remember to tell your friends!)
