Volunteers are needed to support the work of Glass Door CHELSEA homeless concern, a charity working with the homeless and the largest open-access emergency night shelter provider in the UK. Volunteers help set up and serve a meal to guests at one of the shelter venues. The shifts take place from 6:00 pm to approximately 9:00 pm at Chelsea Methodist Church (a 10 – 15 min walk from Sloane Square or South Kensington tube stations). The entrance is through the side door on Chelsea Manor Street (ring the bell for Glass Door).

Volunteers will be part of a wider team and will receive instruction when they arrive for an evening shift from the volunteer coordinator.
