Junior League of London Recognises Members for Corporate Matching
Over £3,000 Raised for JLL’s Charitable Projects through Matched Donations from 11 UK Corporations
At its December General Meeting, the Junior League of London (JLL) honoured those members who have helped us raise important funding for our charitable mission through corporate matching.
Corporations who have supported the JLL through matched donations in the past 12 months include:
• Alliance Bernstein (JLL member: Betsy Ludwig Abdallah)
• American Express (JLL member: Ariel Speicher)
• BlackRock (JLL member: Mary Allen Saunders)
• Credit Suisse (JLL members: Jennifer Clarke and Ashley Klaasmeyer)
• Deutsche Bank (JLL member: Hallie Ambler)
• Goldman Sachs (JLL members: Carin Langen and Karen Young)
• Lehman Brothers (JLL member: Caroline Hart)
• Maersk Co. (JLL member: Lindy Black)
• Royal Bank of Scotland (JLL member: Leah Bell)
• Schroders (JLL member: Jennie Walls)
• UBS (JLL members: Kasia Krishan and Lauren Stollow)
Commenting on the corporate matching process, JLL Trustee Betsy Ludwig Abdallah, who has personally raised over £1,200 in the past year for the JLL through corporate matching noted, “Corporate matching is an easy and effective way for JLL members to support the work of the Junior League of London. The standard forms are simple to complete, and if even half our members were able to get their dues matched, we would raise enough money to fund half of our annual community budget for the year.”
If you or your partner works for one of the above companies, please consider asking the JLL member/s named above for information on how to get your dues or any other donations you make to the JLL this year matched. However, this is not a complete list of companies that match donations: for a more comprehensive list, please click here:/documents/631731/1310429/Matching_Web_2.pdf or contact Abbey Lin, Grants, Donations and Sponsorships Chair.
