Please join us in congratulating Heather Roscoe as July Member of the Month!

As a member of the Education & Employment Community Action Team, Heather worked on one of JLL’s legacy events – World Book Day with our partners at Colville Primary School. Not only did Heather obtain different books for each age group and classroom, she also saw opportunities to support Colville’s refresh of books for the classroom reading corners to better reflect their current student populations, so the kids see faces like theirs. At the World Book Day volunteer shift, JLL members interacted with over 100 students, representing each year taught in the school, from nursery, reception, to years 1-6. Every book was different, and it was delightful to see the excitement and decision-making of the students.
