Junior League of London Awarded £1,000 Red Cup Cheer Grant

The Revenue Research Committee is excited to announce they have been awarded a £1,000 grant from Starbucks in partnership with Neighbourly and their Red Cup Cheer Grant. For the last few years, Starbucks partners have been nominating charities across the UK to participate in a social media programme to raise awareness of their local cause. The Junior League of London was nominated in 2016 to raise awareness about Holiday Hampers and all we had to do was get our twitter handles ready! For the month of December we shared the Neighbourly page along with Tweeting #RedCupCheer in order to ‘make noise’ and potentially win the £1,000 prize for being one of the charities with the loudest cheerers. We were notified a few days after the New Year that we were awarded the £1,000 grant and couldn’t be happier. Thanks to everyone who posted the Neighbourly site along with those who tweeted! Special thanks to the following tweeters who really put us over the line:
  • Kaitlin Brower
  • Clare Roper
  • Erin Northey
  • Diana Nye
  • Helen Miller
  • Lynn Begany
  • Alyson Tart
  • Rebecca Thorne
  • Zena Martin
  • Amber Raney-Kincade
  • Gillian Bentley
  • Tamsin Davies
Looking forward to the 2017 Red Cup Cheer Grant and other Neighbourly projects!
