In addition to our fundraising events, there are many other easy and efficient ways that you can support the mission of the Junior League of London (JLL). Not all of them require direct financial contribution, just your time and a bit of dedication!

1. Buy some JLL merchandise

We have a variety of Junior League of London merchandise available to purchase via our Red Bubble Shop. A portion of the proceeds from all purchases will go to support our mission

2. Make your gift go further: Gift Aid it!

Gift Aid is the UK government’s way of allowing the charities a UK taxpayer supports to reclaim tax the taxpayer has already paid to the government. For every pound received under Gift Aid, the JLL will receive an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue. If you are a UK taxpayer, you can make your dues or donation go further by checking the Gift Aid box online when you pay your dues.

3. Corporate Matching

Many corporations support employees’ charitable contributions through matching gift programmes-matching dues or donations. Matching gift programmes can double or triple the value of your contributions to JLL.

If 25% of our membership obtained corporate matching from their company or their partner’s, we would receive nearly £17,000.

4. Give as you Earn (GAYE)

Many employers also offer a GAYE scheme, which allows you to donate to a charity of your choice tax-efficiently by taking your donation from your pay before tax is calculated. Find out if your employer participates.

5. Support the JLL Through a 10-K or Other Challenge

Considering a 10-K run? Planning to undertake a major challenge like biking from London to Brighton, Three Peaks or something even more adventurous? Then consider asking your friends to support your efforts by creating a donor page online.

6. Shop Online Through The Giving Machine

Register with The Giving Machine and shop online at a variety of fantastic online retailers from John Lewis to Amazon.com to iTunes. Follow this link to select Junior League of London as your beneficiary of choice and we will earn a percentage of the donations made by the retailers.
