Learning, Inspiration & More!

Twice a year, the LEAD team develops and hosts all-member conferences with focus on leadership and civic engagement. For our 35th year of Junior League of London, our theme was “Catalysts For Change”.

Saturday, 25 April was our first Virtual Conference packed with inspiring speakers. Over 75 members were in attendance.

Highlighted takeaways:

• About the importance of advocating for change, as well as the importance of empowering those fighting for a change you believe in!
• How to think more positively and learn to treat yourself like your own best friend in uncertain times.
• About how to use your personal leadership approach to create change and maintain trust.
• How to build a stronger foundation and increase our resilience for sustainable change and resilience.
• About the benefits of resilience and tips to develop it to drive successful leadership.

We’d like to give a huge thanks to our speakers. This year in lieu of physical gifts for our speakers we’ve made donations to our Community Partner The Hammersmith & Fulham foodbank to support their frontline emergency services. And special thanks to all of the women who worked so hard to make the day a success, including our Members of the Month!
