League Transfers

Transferring In

Are you already a member of a Junior League? The Junior League of London (JLL) welcomes any Provisional, Active, or Sustaining member in good standing to transfer to the JLL. We charge a small transfer fee to all incoming transfers, in addition to any applicable prorated dues.

Transfer members are accepted year-round into the JLL. If your schedule allows, we encourage you to take part in New Member Interest Sessions, held during the summer months. These sessions are a great way to learn about the JLL and our community partners.

Active Transfer members are encouraged to take a placement upon transferring in, and you will have access to the online placement catalogue to review your options. Every member is matched with a Placement Advisor to make sure you are getting the most out of your League experience.

How to Transfer

  1. To begin the transfer process, you must first notify your CURRENT or home League. Contact information for any league can be found at the AJLI website.
  2. Your current League will initiate the transfer in the AJLI online system and the JLL will be notified. You will receive confirmation from the AJLI once the transfer has been processed.
  3. After the AJLI confirms the transfer, you will receive a welcome email from the JLL outlining the steps required to complete your transfer in. Once we receive your response, you will be added to the JLL membership roster and have immediate access to our Members’ diary in order to register for volunteer shifts and events.

We look forward to welcoming you to London and as part of our League!

Transferring Out

Are you moving away from London?

If you are a current member of the Junior League of London and would like to transfer your membership to a League in another city, please submit a Request to Transfer Out. Only those members who are in good standing and current on their JLL dues and other financial obligations are eligible for transfer.

It is advisable to visit the web site of the league you wish to transfer to, and learn about their transfer policies, as some leagues limit the number of transfers and others may have different membership requirements and obligations.
