We wear black because a staggering 28% of Londoners live below the poverty line. As part of the LBDI campaign, women participating will be wearing the same black outfit for five consecutive days from 11-15 October 2021 and sharing content across their social networks in order to illustrate the effects poverty can have on an individual’s access to resources, confidence and professional opportunities and to raise funds for our community partners that combat poverty in London.
