The Privacy Policy explains how the Junior League of London uses any information visitors provide us via our website, and the ways in which we protect their privacy. The Junior League complies with the data protection principles set out in the Data Protection Act 1998 in relation to personal data which you give to us via our website to the extent that the Act requires it to do so. These principles restrict the powers of a data controller to disclose to third parties personal data which it is processing.

In order to process financial transactions, we may ask you for your bank or credit card details.

Do we use cookies?

Yes. Cookies are pieces of information that are sent to your computer by the Junior League when you log onto our website. They are stored on your computer’s hard drive, allowing us to recognise you as a user when you next visit. If you do not want cookies to be stored on your PC it is possible to disable this function without affecting your navigation around the site.

Can you gain access to your personal information?

You may request a copy of the personal information relating to you which is kept on file by the Junior League by contacting us via email or post, along with a payment of £20, for Junior League of London administrative time in processing this request. Your information will be sent to you within 20 working days of receipt of the request (unless the Junior League of London office is closed, in which case the period may be longer).
